∎ QUALIFICATIONS
∎ EDUCATION
∎ The candidate must have a PhD in business, marketing, finance, management, accounting, HRM, or any business-related discipline from an internationally reputed university.
∎ EXPERIENCE
∎ Minimum 8 years of teaching and research experience. This bar may be relaxed for exceptional candidates with good-quality foreign degrees and strong leadership experience.
∎ RESEARCH
∎ At least 8 publications in quality international, peer-reviewed journals. Scopus-indexed (or equivalent) journals will be preferred. Additional qualifications will include books/book chapters by renowned publishers with international co-authors and demonstrated ability to obtain research funding.
∎ SKILLS
∎ Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills. Adept in using relevant application software, emailing, web search, and online meeting software.
∎ LEADERSHIP
∎ Minimum of 3 years of academic leadership and administrative experience in a good-quality university or higher education institution. The ideal candidate should be able to lead the BBA program, focusing on understanding team members, team building, motivation, conflict resolution, and timely decision-making.
∎ INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE
∎ Applicants with relevant experience in industry and consultancy will be preferred.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Lead the designing, developing, implementing, and reviewing of an OBE (Outcome Based Education) focused curriculum under the guidance of the Head/Dean of the School of Business.
∎ Provide oversight for academic data analysis and strategic planning. Review applicable policies and procedures, research issues, analyze institutional data, prepare reports, and make recommendations for process improvement.
∎ Supervise preparing SAR (Self-Assessment Report) for any accreditation.
∎ Ensure smooth running of the BBA program including monitoring the quality of faculty members and classes, create a sound co-curricular and extra-curricular environment to foster student learning and participation, on-time course completion & assessment, and prohibit any unethical practice.
∎ Supervise program-related committee and club activities.
∎ Emphasize the students' creative development so that they can make successful and sustainable footprints in the related sector.
∎ Focus on the development of the other faculty members of the BBA program.
∎ Enhance the program's research activities and quality publications by encouraging faculty and senior students.
∎ Complete regular academic and program-related administrative activities in collaboration with other relevant offices and departments.
∎ Liaison with key people inside and outside ULAB to plan and support timely faculty recruitment, knowledge sharing, and attainment of program goals and KPIs.
∎ Provide and discuss ideas with the Dean, School of Business for the continuous and strategic development of the BBA program.
∎ Manage any program-related audit issues.
∎ Build a strong network with related industries.
∎ Understand and align the program operations with the related in-house and Government policies and guidelines.
∎ JOB CONTEXT
∎ ULAB seeks to appoint a passionate, driven, and innovative individual to develop the ULAB’s BBA program as a leading program in the country. S/he shall support the Head of the School of Business in designing a modern, flexible, and global standard curriculum for the program. The Director will partner with other offices/centers/departments within the university on various strategic initiatives to support the university’s mission, values, and goals.
∎ REPORTING
∎ The Director of the BBA program will report to the Dean of the School of Business.
