REPORTING: The incumbent will report to the Deputy Director, SAO

Employment Status: Contractual / Part-time

Duty hours (Evening Shift): Friday and Saturday, 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist the physician at the Health & Wellness Center in providing first aid and other forms of pre-hospital emergency care to injured students and staff.

  • Assist the physician during routine medical consultations and physical examinations for male and female students and staff.

  • Operate emergency equipment such as oxygen cylinders, bag-valve-mask resuscitators, nebulizers, and inhalers for emergency patients.

  • Assess the severity and type of injuries, promptly inform the physician, and initiate appropriate medical procedures as quickly as possible.

  • Assess, record, and communicate patient information, injuries, and conditions to the physician, including details of treatments provided and any reactions to treatments or medications.

  • Clean and decontaminate the dressing area and observation room after dressing procedures or when treating patients with infectious diseases.

  • Report any infectious diseases to the physician.

  • Administer medications via injection, intravenous procedures, or oral administration as directed by the physician.

  • Communicate and coordinate with emergency rescue team members to ensure proper preparation and treatment for incoming patients.

  • Maintain records of medicine stock and daily consultations in Google Drive.

  • Attend a weekly coordination meeting at the Student Affairs Office (SAO) once between Sunday and Thursday, as part of regular duties.

  • In the absence of the Medical Officer, follow the instructions of the higher authority and adhere to established clinical protocols and guidelines.

  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Medical Officer of the Health & Wellness Center and the Director/Deputy Director of the Student Affairs Office.
