Additional Requirements:
  • Practical experience in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Email correspondence.

  • Proven track record of managing regulatory relationships and strong professional networks across ministries, agencies, and public offices in Bangladesh.

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with government bodies.

  • Ability to demonstrate how to efficiently manage multiple licensing processes concurrently, ensuring a high level of accuracy and compliance.

  • Familiar with Bangladesh`s regulatory environment is essential.



Responsibilities & Context:
  • Lead and mentor the Regulatory Affairs team to ensure smooth execution of all compliance and documentation functions, including systematic archiving and tracking of licenses, approvals, and related regulatory documents.

  • Obtain, renew, and manage licenses and approvals from regulatory authorities such as DoE, BSTI, WASA, Titas Gas, DIFE, DPDT, BERC, DGDA, BIWTA, BEZA, BIDA, and other relevant agencies.

  • Represent MGI during inspections, audits, official meetings, and forums with government bodies and industry associations.

  • Collaborate with factory heads and cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to regulatory standards and proper maintenance of compliance records.

  • Maintain effective liaison and professional relationships with national energy regulatory bodies and relevant ministries.

  • Handle all energy-related correspondences, documentation, and negotiation for industrial utility connections (e.g., gas, water, electricity).

  • Coordinate with regulatory authorities to fulfill compliance obligations such as obtaining various permissions, certificates, and NOCs.

  • Respond promptly to regulatory inquiries and ensure full compliance with governmental requirements.

  • Attend and represent the company in meetings, seminars, and discussions organized by energy and regulatory institutions.
