• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a relevant discipline from a reputed institution.

• Minimum 10 years of experience as a Designer in a woven garments manufacturing or export-oriented apparel industry.

• Experience working with international buyers/brands will be an added advantage.

• Strong knowledge of woven garment (Denim & Non-Denim) construction, fabrics, trims, and washes.

• Excellent understanding of international fashion trends and market demands.

• Strong sketching, presentation, and product visualization skills.

• Good communication and collaboration skills.

• Ability to manage multiple development projects within tight deadlines.

Job Context

Creative Collections Ltd is looking for a creative, trend-driven, and commercially focused Designer (Woven Garments) to join our Product Development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for researching global fashion trends, developing innovative woven apparel collections, and collaborating with merchandising, sourcing, and production teams to meet buyer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Research global fashion trends, color directions, fabrics, trims, washes, and silhouettes for woven garments.

• Develop seasonal design concepts and innovative product collections aligned with buyer requirements.

• Prepare design sketches, technical artworks, mood boards, and presentation materials.

• Collaborate with merchandising, sample development, and sourcing teams throughout the product development process.

• Select suitable fabrics, trims, prints, and embellishments while considering cost and manufacturability.

• Coordinate sample development and provide design support until final approval.

• Maintain close communication with buyers regarding design developments and product presentations.

• Ensure all designs meet customer expectations, quality standards, and target costs.
