Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelors' degree from any reputed university in fashion designing.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 2 to 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Conducting market research to identify new trends, fabrics and techniques, to seek design inspiration
∎ Develop innovative designs and produce concepts for the organization
∎ Creating production sketches for development packages
∎ Present mood boards, color boards and sources for accessories and trims
∎ Collaborating with team members to select seasonal themes, make edits to line, and create new concepts/collections
∎ Source fabrics and trims as per the design requirements
∎ Prepare tech files, handover to the sample section with all details and follow the sample development.
∎ Collaborating with technical manager to ensure development packages are accurate
∎ Maintain the TNA files and follow up the fabric and trims submission
∎ Review wash samples and prepare wash according to tech file
∎ Ensuring final product is in-agreement with buyer's requirement
∎ Organize the storage for samples and accessories
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 2 to 5 years of experience in design
∎ Ability to do sketches by hand
∎ Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Adobe Illustrator
∎ Technical skills areas such as pattern cutting, grading and garment development.
∎ Should have good communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
