Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in Civil Engineering, Diploma in Civil
∎ Diploma in Civil Engineering with 7 years of practical experience or B. Sc. in Civil Engineering with 5 Years of practical experience on same track (Project Management, Team Management, Coordination, Office Management ) will be a strong asset.
∎ Drawing, design, analysis and BOQ preparation using computer-aided software (Excel, AutoCAD, Etabs, Staad Pro software) will be an extra-strong asset for this position.
∎ Skills Required: Construction engineering, Coordination, Project Management

Job Responsibilities:
∎ We are looking for a creative, dynamic person as a Deputy Operation Manager to play a critical role in manage the company's Cox's Bazar office to carry the office management, coordination and collaboration and implementation of construction projects, tender preparation, supply of products and services. This person will manage a high performing team focused on company critical projects related to field implementation. The manager will work cross-functionally with various internal and external stakeholders, interface with end users, and the engineering team to ensure delivery of projects under schedule and under budget. Also has responsibilities that include strategizing to find cost-effective deals and suppliers.
∎ Monitor contract compliance with established procedures, ensure all contracts are signed and delivered to relevant parties; Preparation of Contract Documentation, Expression of interest, pre-qualification; Contract administration; Post Contract Management of projects: valuations, variations, cost reporting, Nominated Sub-Contractors
∎ Successfully deliver large, design build, and self-performed construction projects and materials supply.
∎ Ensure on time, or ahead of time delivery of construction projects, materials supply, enabling your teams to solve problems and prioritize execution
∎ Promote a safe and quality driven culture, both project and company wide
∎ Coach and mentor counterparts and subordinates on excellence in the construction industry
∎ Use efficient and aesthetic communication methods to escalate roadblocks or communicate successes as necessary
∎ Employ a can-do attitude, ensuring all stakeholders are engaged and aligned to the project's goals
∎ Provide the best product for your respective project's customer or end users, keeping projects moving forward and fixing concerns as they arise
∎ Foster an innovative environment amongst your team's and provide strategic input into the construction, government or development organization, setting your teams future up for growth and success
∎ Advanced knowledge and proven delivery on Civil, Structural, and Architectural, Mechanical, electrical, life safety and controls scopes
∎ Ability to train and mentor colleagues on best practices for project management and execution
∎ Willingness to get your hands dirty as needed to complete objectives and lead your times through challenging projects
∎ Ability to work within a high-performance, cross-functional organization with extremely tight timelines and aggressive goals
∎ Have an inquisitive and open attitude to exploring new ideas and willingness to continuously learn
∎ Capacity to work long hours on demanding projects in high stress environments
∎ Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Bangla, presentation skills are a must.
∎ Minimize costs and increase efficiencies where possible and provide high level of service
∎ Maintain results, analyze and assess performance and implement improvements
∎ Ensure all health & safety standards are adhered to and positively followed
∎ Approve all Standard Operating Procedures for assigned area of responsibility

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 40 years
∎ Strong communication, convincing and interpersonal skills; ability to learn quickly and adapt fast to the environment.
∎ Very good expertise in MS office especially Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project
