Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Plan, coordinate, and monitor the receipt and dispatch of goods.
∎ Manage in house trucks and third party logistics.
∎ Optimize transportation routes and schedules to reduce costs and improve delivery times.
∎ Maintain detailed report on logistic spare parts requirements and daily record of spare parts availability at workshop.
∎ Liaise with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and consumers to ensure smooth operations.
∎ Maintain Truck drivers trip records and salary calculation.
∎ Track delivery and resolve any issues related to delays or damages.
∎ Ensure compliance with local, state related to logistics and transportation.
∎ Prepare and maintain accurate reports on logistics activities, including costs, performance metrics, and inventory levels.
∎ Implement and maintain logistics management software and systems
∎ Prepare reports on logistics performance, inventory status, and cost analysis
∎ Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency.
