Hijra and marginalize people often confront stigma, prejudice, discrimination and sometimes violence based on their gender identity. The Office of High Commissioner for Human Rights report also documented widespread discrimination in employment, education, health and other areas of Hijra and marginalize persons around the world.
Major Job responsibilities :
Provide support in monitoring the quality-of-service delivery and ensure appropriate steps are taken to enhance the quality-of-service of youth focus SRH center.
Develop the monitoring and reporting tools in consultation with Donors and Bandhu MEAL unit.
Develop appropriate monitoring systems (Result Framework with indicators) & tools for project and tools user guideline in Bangla for filed staffs.
Provide need-based training among the project staffs on monitoring tools, format, learning documentation process and reporting.
Identify gaps through analysis and also provide technical assistance for improvements and necessary modifications for project.
Document the periodic learning, success story, case study, spotlights and need based assessment as part knowledge management.
Collect and check data validation with data sources at filed level through field monitoring.
Conduct regular monitoring visit at filed level and provide necessary feedback to improvement of quality-of-service for each SHR service delivery areas.
Align the project activity in line with organization strategic plan and assist to the Manager-MEAL/Unit focal to assess the result of organizational strategic plan and any organizational study and assessment.
Prepare the Result Framework of the project and set the output, outcome level quantitative and qualitative indicators with reference sheets.
Conduct Data Quality Assessment (DQA) using prescribe checklist and provide the feedback to program team.
Periodic report produces and submit to the, line manager, donors and comply with feedback and requirements of donor’s agency
Support in the implementation of the M&E capacity building plan:
Develop staff capacity development plan of BANDHU staffs related to M&E on regular basis.
Promote knowledge sharing and coaching among the relevant staffs of the project as well as BANDHU.
Provide necessary guidance on promising/ best practice documentation among the project and SRH center staffs.
Participate in any government and other stakeholder’s related meetings as and when required.
Ensures facilitation of knowledge building and knowledge sharing in the BANDHU focusing on achievement of the following results:
Provide contents for regular update of BANDHU website and uploading information and materials.
Active participation within the process of producing the quarterly news letter of Bandhu
Take research initiative using BANDHU M&E data and produce report accordingly; Develop the ToR or RFP for hire external consultant for conduct and study/ assessment/ evaluation of the program/project
Support to design and conduct a range of impact assessments in line with the stated outputs and outcomes of BANDHU and their donors.
Active participation within the process of producing the annual report of the organization and event report
Develop protocol for research (operational, impact assessment et.) related and evaluation (progress measures/value for money)
Partnership and Coordination:
Coordinate with national stakeholders including, but not limited to, the National AIDS STD Program, in terms of joint teams with other organization on M+&E and research related issues.
Develop presentations on BANDHU and take part in disseminating these among appropriate potential donors
Improving and enhancing the current Monitoring Systems.
