Job Context:
∎ Department of Public Health and Informatics (DPHI) of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) invite application from the suitable candidates for the position of Data Collector.
∎ Duty station: Dhaka
∎ Duration: 3 months, Contractual
Job Responsibilities:
∎ The primary responsibility of the data collector will be to conduct quantitative and qualitative data collection. They will be responsible for conducting surveys, in-depth interviews (IDIs), key informant interviews (KII), focus group discussions (FGDs), and participatory learning approach (PLA)
∎ Able to solve challenges which may arise during data collection such as taking consent, sampling, dealing with different types of respondents etc.
∎ The jobholders will be responsible to support the analysis of collected data
∎ Conduct any other research activities according to the instruction of the Principal Investigator
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 3 years of working experience
∎ Strong interpersonal communication skills
∎ Fluency in writing in English and speaking in Bangla
∎ Experiencing of taking field notes
∎ Previous experience of collecting quantitative and qualitative data among adolescents or gender issues will be preferable
∎ Computer Skill: Ms Word, Excel (English and Bangla)
