Job Responsibilities:
∎ Perform the activities of counseling.
∎ Prepare the monthly counseling report and progress reports.
∎ Provide MHPSS counseling (individual or group counseling), advice and support to targeted beneficiaries on a range of personal issues of concern, including sexualities, sexual health orientation, gender identification, psychosocial and psycho-sexual issues, marriage and children.
∎ Provide counseling assistance in regard to personal risk assessments, safer sex behaviors, partner notification and any related issues for those attending the counseling session.
∎ Provide pre and post test counseling.
∎ Provide an opportunity and environment for clients to ask their own questions and voice anxieties in a relaxed, informal and non-judgmental atmosphere.
∎ Assess whether clients may have other problems, which need specialist attention and refer as required.
∎ Maintain all necessary documents maintaining confidentiality and recall system for those clients who may need follow-up.
∎ Respond to helpline phone calls and keep proper records to generate report and submit to Bandhu’s central legal unit called AIN ALAP
∎ Maintain confidentiality and security of client information at all times.
∎ Analyze the reasons for increasing or decreasing in the client flow
∎ Maintain proper record of client, maintain visitor’s log and ensure all visitors have his/her refreshment.
∎ Liaison with MHPSS service providers in the camp and outside.
∎ Maintain MHPSS and GBV referral pathway and stablished linkage with service providers in humanitarian sectors.
∎ Participate health sector meetings in camp area.
∎ Coordinate MHPSS working group and participate bi-weekly and monthly meeting.
∎ Coordinate with Bandhu other service centers for referral linkage
∎ Prepare monthly 5W report for MHPSS Working Group.
∎ Need base visit in camp and host area based on project participants need.
∎ Organize educational sessions on mental health, Gender Based Violence (GBV), human rights and others issues in service center
∎ Prepare monthly report to submit service center manager.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 35 years
∎ Good knowledge in the utilization of Microsoft office programs
∎ At least 2-3 years post qualification experience in the same field.
∎ Ability to interact professionally with diverse population and must have efficiency in local language
∎ Must have experience in counseling with gender diverse population and Rohingya refugees
∎ Ability to exercise flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities
∎ Ability to work within a team
∎ Demonstrate good report writing skills both in English and Bangla
∎ Ability to communicate effectively both written and oral
∎ Ability to plan, evaluate and meet deadlines.

Salary: Tk. 38615 (Monthly)
