Job Context:
∎ Qcoom Limited is looking to hire a dedicated Content Writer to create content for blogs, articles, product descriptions, social media, and the company website. The Content Writer`s responsibilities include evaluating analytics to adjust content as needed, regularly updating the company`s website, and promoting the company blog.
∎ You should also be able to follow editorial guidelines when creating content.
∎ To be successful as a Content Writer, you should keep abreast of the latest SEO techniques. Ultimately, a top-performing Content Writer should be able to contribute to the development of strategies that will increase reader engagement.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Conducting in-depth research on industry-related topics in order to develop original content.
∎ Developing content for blogs, articles, product/product descriptions, social media, and the company website.
∎ Writing clear, attractive copy with a distinct voice
∎ Creating compelling headlines and body copy that will capture the attention of the target audience.
∎ Conducting keyword research and using SEO best practices to increase traffic to the company website.
∎ Proofreading content for errors and inconsistencies.
∎ Editing and polishing existing content to improve readability.
∎ Sourcing images and other relevant content.
∎ Interpreting copywriting briefs to understand project requirements
∎ Collaborate with designers, PR, and other professionals on large- and small-scale marketing projects.
∎ Assisting the marketing team in developing content for advertising campaigns.
∎ Meeting with account executives to discuss the client's requirements and core messages familiarizing themselves with the product, target audience, and competitor activities in the market.
∎ Identifying customers' needs and recommending new content to address gaps in the company's current content.
∎ Brainstorming ideas and concepts for the visual and words with other members of the creative team.
∎ Presenting initial ideas to the chief creative officer, some of which may get rejected or get developed into workable concepts.
∎ Writing various copy options, which may be presented to the client as a storyboard (a consecutive series of frames depicting the script and drawings that may be used).
∎ Modifying copy until the client is satisfied.
∎ Overseeing the production phase, booking, and liaising with designers, illustrators, printers, photographers, and production companies.
