Responsibilities & Context:
- Prepare a total requirement (budget) for conducting all examination during an academic year.
- Ensure policies of the UGC on Examinations and other matters.
- Ensure strict security measures for handling confidential materials, including question papers.
- Supervise logistical arrangements, such as seat plans, invigilator allocation, and examination centers.
- Monitor a fair, malpractice-free examination process, including the collection and coding of answer scripts.
- Oversee tabulation, validation, and timely publication of results, along with issuing mark sheets and certificates.
- Facilitate online examinations and digital evaluation systems, where applicable.
- Investigate and resolve cases of misconduct or student grievances related to examinations and results.
- Administration of the office of the controller of examinations.
