• Experience in the RMG / Garments / Textile industry will be given preference.

• Practical knowledge of Chattogram Port operations and import-export documentation is essential.

• Strong communication, coordination, and negotiation skills.

• Good knowledge of import-export documentation and customs clearance procedures.

• Ability to control logistics costs and meet shipment deadlines.

• Good computer skills, including MS Office and email communication.

• Strong sense of responsibility, integrity, and accountability.

 Job Context

To ensure timely and cost-effective customs clearance, forwarding, transportation, and delivery of imported raw materials, fabrics, garment accessories, machinery, and export finished goods for the company, in compliance with applicable Bangladesh customs regulations, port procedures, and company policies.

Job Responsibilities

• Handle and coordinate import customs clearance of fabrics, garment accessories, raw materials, machinery, and other imported goods.

• Coordinate export shipment of finished garments through Chattogram Port.

• Liaise with C&F agents, shipping lines, freight forwarders, transport providers, customs authorities, and port officials.

• Monitor shipment schedules, customs clearance, container movement, delivery, and empty-container return.

• Ensure timely availability of imported materials to support uninterrupted production.

• Monitor demurrage, detention, port charges, transportation costs, and other logistics expenses.

• Verify shipping documents, C&F bills, transportation bills, and related supporting documents.

• Maintain accurate records of import-export shipments and prepare regular operational reports.

• Ensure compliance with applicable customs regulations, port procedures, and company policies.

• Initiate any other task assigned by the management.
