∎ CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

∎ The Child Care Specialist / Pediatric Nurse will provide comprehensive nursing care to infants, children, and adolescents. This role involves assessing patient needs, developing and implementing care plans, administering treatments, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care and support for young patients and their families.

∎ Key Responsibilities:
∎ Patient Care:
∎ Provide compassionate and effective nursing care to pediatric patients.
∎ Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health conditions and develop individualized care plans.
∎ Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by physicians.
∎
∎ Monitoring & Assessment:
∎ Monitor patients' vital signs and overall health, documenting any changes in condition.
∎ Perform regular assessments and provide appropriate interventions to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
∎ Collaborate with healthcare teams to evaluate the effectiveness of care plans and make necessary adjustments.

∎ Family Support & Education:
∎ Educate and support families regarding their child's condition, treatment options, and care procedures.
∎ Provide emotional support to patients and their families, addressing concerns and answering questions.
∎ Guide families on post-hospitalization care and healthy practices for their children.
∎
∎ Medical Procedures:
∎ Assist physicians during examinations, treatments, and procedures.
∎ Prepare and maintain medical equipment and supplies required for patient care.
∎ Ensure the safe and accurate administration of intravenous therapies, injections, and other medical procedures.

∎ Patient Records & Documentation:
∎ Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients.
∎ Document patients' medical histories, treatments, and progress notes.
∎ Ensure compliance with all regulatory and institutional documentation requirements.
∎
∎ Team Collaboration:
∎ Work closely with pediatricians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated care.
∎ Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case conferences.
∎ Provide input and recommendations for improving patient care practices and protocols.

∎ Educate patients and families about preventive health measures and wellness strategies.
