Responsibilities & Context:
International American School (IAS) is seeking an experienced and visionary Principal to lead the school's academic and administrative operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, a passion for education, and the ability to build a dynamic learning environment rooted in the American curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide strategic leadership for the school's academic, administrative, and operational functions
Ensure effective implementation of the American curriculum across all grade levels
Recruit, mentor, and supervise teaching and non-teaching staff
Set and monitor academic standards, policies, and performance benchmarks
Foster a safe, inclusive, and student-centered school culture
Oversee co-curricular programs (leadership development, IELTS, programming, robotics, arts, sports, etc.)
Liaise with parents, the governing body, and the wider community to strengthen the school's reputation
Manage admissions processes, budgeting, and resource planning in coordination with administration
Ensure compliance with relevant educational boards/regulatory bodies
