Responsibilities & Context:
Admissions & Assessments: Conduct comprehensive physical examinations, compile detailed medical histories, and formulate initial treatment plans for newly admitted patients.
Daily Ward Rounds: Monitor inpatient progress regularly, review diagnostic test findings, and modify treatment plans in coordination with the primary consultant.
Treatment Administration: Order and oversee the delivery of accurate dosages of medications, intravenous fluids, and clinical therapies.
Discharge Protocols: Prepare thorough discharge summaries, write out prescriptions, and detail follow-up instruction care for departing patients.
ER Operations: Manage acute situations in the Emergency Room, performing rapid clinical triage to stabilize incoming critically ill patients.
Life-Saving Interventions: Deliver immediate resuscitation, advanced life support, or emergency surgical steps until a specialized consultant arrives on the scene.
Shift Handovers: Provide rigorous verbal and written documentation of unstable patients during shift transitions to guarantee uncompromised continuous care.
