  • Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Business Administration.

  • Minimum 15+ years of experience in the construction industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and develop actionable strategies.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
  • Fluency in Bangla and English; proficiency in project management tools is a plus.


Responsibilities & Context:

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Leadership

    • Develop and execute the company’s operational strategy in line with overall business objectives.

    • Collaborate with the board to set and drive the vision, strategy, and execution roadmap.

    • Lead long-term planning and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).

  2. Operational Oversight

    • Oversee all ongoing construction projects to ensure timely delivery, cost-efficiency, and quality control.

    • Supervise project managers, engineers, procurement, and logistics departments.

    • Monitor operational budgets, project profitability, and resource allocation.

  3. Project Management

    • Ensure effective planning, scheduling, and execution of projects across all sites.

    • Resolve site-level issues quickly and efficiently.

    • Approve project timelines, vendor selections, and subcontractor engagement.

  4. Quality, Safety, and Compliance

    • Enforce HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) compliance across all projects.

    • Ensure all operations comply with national regulations, building codes, and company standards.

    • Monitor quality assurance and control mechanisms on construction sites.

  5. Financial Control

    • Collaborate with CFO and finance team for budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

    • Monitor cost control measures and profitability of each project.

    • Optimize resource utilization to minimize waste and improve efficiency.

  6. Human Resource & Talent Management

    • Lead, mentor, and develop project teams and senior managers.

    • Participate in recruitment and evaluation of key personnel.

    • Drive a performance-based culture and continuous skill development.

  7. Client & Stakeholder Management

    • Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, vendors, and regulatory authorities.

    • Attend client meetings, site inspections, and progress reviews regularly.

    • Ensure excellent client satisfaction and timely communication.

  8. Innovation & Process Improvement

    • Introduce technology, automation, and best practices to improve operations.

    • Identify process bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

  9. Reporting & Documentation

    • Present monthly/quarterly operational reports to the board and stakeholders.

    • Maintain accurate project documentation, compliance records, and status updates.
