Job Context:
∎ Since the establishment of KR Group in 2005, the group able to find the values and concept in business management, and has taken over the past decade a lot of bold steps, and has invested in many areas of business.
∎ KR Group is now seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with experience and potential to oversee all of the company`s financial and accounting operations.
∎ This is a senior-level role with responsibilities including providing accurate and timely financial reports to the Group Chairman, conducting regular financial analyses, and auditing the company`s books.
∎ As a result, the CFO will collaborate closely with KR Group Management to ensure accurate financial reporting, timely feedback, the implementation and management of financial budgets relative to expenses, the preparation of forecasts, the smooth running of the banking activities, and the observance of all standards in accordance relevant acts, rules and regulations.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop and implement financial plans that serve KR Group's objectives. This includes looking at financial data and trends to offer insights that support business choices.
∎ To direct and supervise the daily operations and activities of the Accounts & Finance Department in all financial matters to ensure that transactions are in compliance with the documents related to the numerous tasks performed by KR Group.
∎ Oversee the preparation of monthly, periodic, and year-end financial statements and management accounts of the company.
∎ To improve, develop and implement standard operating procedures for the day-to-day operations of the group to ensure transparency of all the affairs to the Chairman.
∎ Ensure the Company's Banking operations are safe, properly executed, monitored, and reconciled.
∎ Ensure regulatory compliance such as VAT, TAX, RJSC, Labor authority, Bangladesh Bank, etc.
∎ To oversee, implement and ensure proper verification of all the financial activities of the group to assure that all payments are made promptly following proper permission from the Chairman.
∎ Oversee the financial & statutory reporting process to ensure adherence to regulatory compliance.
∎ To ensure payment of Income Tax, VAT, and other taxes in a planned manner to avoid any inconveniences is necessary to stop fraud, forgery, and any potential money misuse and must ensure the safety, security, and preservation of all documents relating to accounts.
∎ To oversee the maintenance of any form of Cash in a secure manner, notify the top management of it, and ensure proper recording of it in the ERP ledger.
∎ To ensure that the accounts and ledger are maintained in accordance with local laws and are kept in safe custody.
∎ To compile the Trial Balance, Profit and Loss Accounts, and Balance Sheet as required by the Chairman.
∎ Any additional tasks that the management assigns.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 35 years

∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):Accounting and Finance, Audit and Compliance, Cost and Management Accounting, Finance and Banking, Financial Reporting, Financial Management, Tax and VAT, Corporate Finance, Corporate Governance, and other such relevant areas.
∎ The applicants must have experience in the following business area(s):At least 05 Years working experience in a Group of Companies.
∎ Excellent leadership abilities, with unwavering commitment and moral character.
∎ Excellent communication skills in both written and visual formats.
∎ Knowledge of relevant IAS & IFRS for the true and fair presentation of financial statements.
∎ Knowledge of Companies Act 1994, Income Tax Ordinance 1984, Income Tax Rules 1984, The Value Added Tax and Supplementary Duty Act 2012, The Value Added Tax and Supplementary Duty Rules 2016, and other such relevant regulatory acts & rules.
∎ Knowledge of complex accounting, legal concerns, and tax planning issues.
∎ Working understanding of capital raising strategies outside of typical lines of credit.
