Must-Haves:

• Strong knowledge of:

  • Cambridge IGCSE Chemistry (0620)

  • Cambridge International AS & A Level Chemistry (9701)

  • IB Diploma Programme (DP) Chemistry

• High proficiency in English (spoken and written)

• Strong understanding of practical/laboratory-based teaching

• Familiarity with Cambridge & IB assessment methods

• Ability to deliver inquiry-based, student-centered learning

• Skilled in integrating digital tools into teaching

• Willingness to relocate to Narsingdi and commit for at least two years

Nice-to-Haves:

• IB/Cambridge training/certification

• Experience preparing students for board examinations

• Strong background in experimental and investigative science

• Experience with lab management and safety protocols

• Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, and digital learning platforms

• Interest in science clubs, fairs, and extracurricular activities

Key Responsibilities (Including but not limited to):

• Plan and deliver engaging Chemistry lessons across IGCSE, AS/A Level, and IB DP

• Develop students’ understanding of core chemical principles, theories, and real-world applications

• Conduct and supervise laboratory experiments and practical investigations

• Prepare students for Cambridge and IB assessments (theory & practical)

• Foster critical thinking, analytical, and scientific inquiry skills

• Design lesson plans, assessments, and instructional materials

• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback

• Promote awareness of scientific ethics and real-world applications of chemistry

• Support students in projects, coursework, and extended essays (IB)

• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership

• Engage in continuous professional development (CPD)

• Contribute to science fairs, clubs, and enrichment programs
