Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Develop and execute the organization's financial strategy, aligning it with overall business objectives.
∎ Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with relevant regulations and accounting standards. This involves preparing financial statements, managing audits, and communicating financial results to stakeholders.
∎ Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes. Provide regular financial reports, analysis, and insights to support decision-making by the executive team.
∎ Identifying and assessing potential risks, such as market fluctuations, currency exchange rate fluctuations, credit risks etc. and develop strategies to manage and minimize these risks. Determine the optimal mix of equity and debt to fund the company's operations and growth initiatives, managing relationships with investors, and financial institutions to secure funding.
∎ Implementation of new ERP system, leverage technology and financial systems to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and improve the accuracy of financial reporting.
∎ Ensure that a robust costing system is maintained to provide management with high quality information to formulate pricing policies and determine product margin/ profitability.
∎ Corporate Tax, VAT and Customs management, liaison with all relevant tax, VAT authorities.
∎ Review, assess, and recommend improvements to policies, procedures, and internal controls over financial & operational reporting and safeguarding of company assets.
∎ Company secretarial activities - holding of Board Meeting, Annual General Meeting, ensuring compliance with Corporate Regulations, share transfer process etc. Dealing with Bangladesh Bank, BIDA and RJSC related matters.
∎ Oversee cash flow, liquidity, and working capital management. Make strategic decisions regarding investments, financing, and capital structure.
∎ Build and lead a high-performing finance team. Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
∎ This position is a crucial executive-level position in Rangs Pharma, who is responsible for managing and overseeing the financial aspects of the business. Strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of financial principles are essential to perform this role. Additionally, effective communication and collaboration with other departments and stakeholders are critical for aligning financial strategies with overall business objectives.
