∎ Skills Required: Tax (VAT/ Customs Duty/ Income Tax), ERP Software, Regulatory Compliance, Cost and budget, Financial analysis and reporting, Analytical Skill, Audit and cost control management Accounting
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Manufacturing, Packaging, Group of Companies, Plastic/ Polymer Industry, Cement, etc.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Supervision of Billing and Invoicing – Oversee client and vendor invoicing processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
∎ Team Supervision and Training – Guide and train junior accountants to ensure proper task execution.
∎ Prepare monthly bank, suppliers, contractors reconciliation statement.
∎ Process invoices, payments, and receipts accurately and efficiently.
∎ Update monthly bank accounts, making bank reconciliation, and prepare report for the management. Monitor, supervise & guide the team members for the timely preparation of Reconciliation Statements related to finance & accounts.
∎ Good knowledge about international banking and international trade.
∎ Prepare various official letters in English to the Bank for LC and Banking purpose.
∎ Ability to monitor all Banking and commercial process timely and cost effectively.
∎ Through knowledge on Bank loan related BRDP circulars of Bangladesh Bank.
∎ Competent in computer application and using accounting software.
∎ Develop and implements financial strategies, budgets and forecasts to support the company’s overall goals.
∎ Understanding of legal and TAX interrelationship with business strategies.
∎ Oversee tax planning, filing, and compliance for direct and indirect taxes.
∎ Handle tax audits and coordinate with external tax consultants.
∎ Coordinate and manage both internal and external audits.
∎ Maintain proper documentation and financial records in accordance with best practices.
