Responsibilities & Context:

Key Responsibilities (Including but not limited to):

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in:

  • Business Studies, Economics, and Accounting (IGCSE & AS/A Level)

  • IB DP Business Management and/or Economics

• Develop students’ understanding of:

  • Business operations, marketing, HR, and finance

  • Economic theories, global issues, and data analysis

  • Accounting principles and financial reporting

• Prepare students for Cambridge and IB assessments (theory & case-based exams)

• Foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

• Use real-world case studies and data to enhance learning

• Design lesson plans, assessments, and instructional materials

• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback

• Support students in coursework, projects, and extended essays (IB)

• Promote entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and global awareness

• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership

• Engage in continuous professional development (CPD)

• Contribute to business/economics clubs and extracurricular activities
