Must-Haves:

  • Strong command of Bangla language (reading, writing, speaking)

  • Experience teaching Primary and Lower Secondary level students

  • Ability to develop students’ reading, writing, grammar, and communication skills

  • Familiarity with modern teaching methodologies and student-centered learning

  • High proficiency in English for communication within school environment

  • Skilled in integrating interactive and activity-based learning

  • Willingness to relocate to Narsingdi and commit for at least two years

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience in IB PYP/ Cambridge Lower Secondary or similar curriculum

  • Ability in creative writing, storytelling, and literature-based teaching

  • Experience in organizing cultural and literary activities (e.g., recitation, debates, language competitions)

  • Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, and digital learning tools



Responsibilities & Context:

Key Responsibilities (Including but not limited to):

  • Plan and deliver engaging Bangla lessons for Primary & Lower Secondary

  • Develop students’ literacy skills, vocabulary, grammar, and comprehension

  • Encourage appreciation of Bangla literature, culture, and heritage

  • Design lesson plans, worksheets, and assessments

  • Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback

  • Use creative teaching strategies such as storytelling, recitation, and group activities

  • Support students in projects and language-based activities

  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership

  • Engage in continuous professional development (CPD)

  • Contribute to school events and cultural programs
