∎ ARM Design & Sourcing is looking for a result-oriented and creative Fashion Designer, who will support continuous growth and shall manage the design and product developments. The person in charge must have enough knowledge & experience to cater customers in Europe as well as other international market.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Researching current fashion trends and applicability and suitability of consumer in order to fit
∎ with taste.
∎ Collaborating with the design team to develop ideas for new products based on research data, then the idea transfer to Fabric as sample product.
∎ Cost estimate of respective design costume.
∎ Designing sketches, developing CAD sketches for new products with a design team.
∎ Creating clothing patterns for mass production.
∎ Testing and deciding on fabrics, colors, patterns and textures for each design.
∎ Overseeing the production of designs, including carrying out fittings, determining prices and
∎ managing marketing.
∎ Maintaining relationships with vendors, suppliers and models.
∎ Communicating technical design information for customer samples.
∎ Working with team members to design clothes for upcoming seasons.
∎ Selecting fabrics and trims.
∎ Creating tech packs with detailed specifications.
∎ Developing CAD sketches to present to stakeholders.
∎ Overseeing the prototype sample process.
∎ Working with the design team to create mood boards.
∎ Creating cost sheets and product lists.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Only females are allowed to apply
∎ Must have extensive experience of product development, sourcing of materials, costing, production tracking and execution of orders independently.
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Garment Sector: Woven, Outerwear, Knit.
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Fashion Designing: Buying House.
∎ Excellent written and verbal communication both in Bangla and English.
∎ Good fashion sense and understanding of market.
∎ Working experience across knit, Woven products.
∎ Previous working experience with Sourcing company/Buying House.
∎ Used to work in a fast paced design environment.
∎ Strong interpersonal skills, ability to interact and build relationships and work as a
∎ team.
∎ Should be well-groomed, smart and energetic.
∎ Strong presentation and delivery skills.
∎ Strong attention to detail and accuracy, aiming for perfection.
