Educational Requirements:
∎ Ph.D. in Information & Communication Technology (ICT) or Relevant academic discipline with minimum two First Class/Div/A Grade out of which one First Class/Div/A Grade in Undergraduate/ Graduate Program.
∎ At least 07 years of teaching experience at university level, out of which 03 years as an Assistant Professor.
∎ Must have 05 publications to his/her credit, out of which 3 publications as Asst Professor.
∎ OR
∎ M. Phil in Information & Communication Technology (ICT) or Relevant academic discipline with minimum two First Class/Div/A Grade.
∎ At least 08 years of teaching experience at university level, out of which 04 years as an Assistant Professor.
∎ Must have 05 publications to his/her credit, out of which 3 publications as Assistant Professor.
∎ OR
∎ Masters and Honors with Information & Communication Technology (ICT) or Relevant academic discipline from any reputed University. Must have achieved at least 03 x First Class/Div/A Grade in the entire educational curriculum.
∎ At least 10 years of teaching experience at university level, out of which 04 years as an Assistant Professor.
∎ Must have 06 publications to his/her credit, out of which 4 publications as Asst Professor.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Position Description: BAIUST solicits applications for the post of Associate Professor under the Dept. of ICT. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:
∎ Teach undergraduate courses that meet the curricular needs of the university with particular emphasis on fundamental education in ICT.
∎ Take responsibility for the design, content and delivery of specific areas of teaching and learning and for the quality of teaching delivered.
∎ Ensure that teaching content is appropriately informed by current research and advance scholarly activity.
∎ Collaborate with colleagues in the continuous review and development of the Department's programmes.
∎ Work in accordance with University policies and procedures to undertake assessment of students' work and give feedback.
∎ To contribute to research through high quality publications.
∎ Carry out specific departmental roles and functions as may reasonably be required; these being equitably distributed across the academic staff.
∎ Any other related jobs as assigned by the University authority.
