Experience:

• 4 years of teaching experience at the secondary level (Classes 6-10) under the NCTB curriculum is preferred.

• Experience teaching Classes 9 & 10 (SSC level) will be considered an advantage

Education and other Requirements:

• Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Science, Mathematics, Business Studies or Education from a recognized institution.

• Preferred: Master’s degree in English, Science and Business Administration ( MSc/MBA/MA)

• Strong subject knowledge and teaching skills in the respective fields.

• Proficiency in ICT tools for lesson delivery and content preparation.

• Effective communication skills in both Bangla and English.

• Commitment to student-centered learning and inclusive education

Job Summary:

Muslim Hands is a UK-registered international relief and development NGO, established in 1993 in response to the Bosnian crisis. Since then, it has grown into a global humanitarian organization delivering emergency aid and long-term development programs in over 32 countries.

Muslim Hands has been operating in Bangladesh since 1995, focusing on improving the lives of vulnerable communities through interventions in Education, Health, Food Security, Livelihoods, Shelter, WASH, Religious Infrastructure and Emergency Relief.

Muslim Hands Schools of Excellence in Sylhet and Gazipur are currently seeking passionate and dedicated Assistant Teachers (Science, Mathematics & Business Studies) to join the academic team. The selected candidates will be responsible for teaching classes 6–10 in line with the National Curriculum (NCTB), nurturing students’ conceptual understanding, problem-solving skills and practical knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

• Curriculum Delivery & Lesson Planning
• Prepare and deliver engaging lessons in Science, Mathematics and Business Studies, aligned with NCTB standards.
• Use practical demonstrations, real-life applications and student-centered methods to enhance conceptual learning.
• Student Assessment & Progress Monitoring
• Conduct class tests, assignments and term exams to measure learning outcomes.
• Maintain updated academic records and share feedback with students, parents and school administration.
• Classroom & Student Management
• Create a safe, inclusive, and participatory classroom environment.
• Provide additional academic support to students facing difficulties, ensuring no one is left behind.

• Promote critical thinking, moral values, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
