Responsibilities & Context:
∎ To issue press releases, rejoinders and news/ photographs to the newspapers, news agencies and other electronic media instructed by the University authority.
∎ To operate official social media accounts of the University.
∎ To plan, design and update the University’s websites.
∎ To publish Annual Reports of the University, yearly pocket diaries, wall and desk Calendars and other occasional booklets and leaflets.
∎ Developing Public Relations (PR) strategies and campaigns.
∎ To publish a quarterly newsletter of the University in Bengali named ZHSUST.
∎ To prepare paper clippings with the news items, views and writings concerned with the University or education, published in the important dailies of the country and maintain the same in the office.
∎ To take photographs of various functions of the University and arrange to publish the important ones in the newspapers and make coverage through electronic media.
∎ Building positive relationships with stakeholders, media and the public
∎ Collaborate with internal teams and maintain open communication with senior management
∎ Engaging in the recruiting process by planning, coordinating, and overseeing promotional events, campus tours and other admissions activities
∎ Providing students, parents and guardians with information regarding admissions requirements and processes, financial aid applications, enrollment issues or other grades
∎ Communicating changes, statistics and other information to the Registrar, Departmental Heads and other concerned offices of the University.
∎ Any other task assigned by the authority.
