Education:
Ph.D. in Civil Engineering with minimum two First Class/Div/A Grade out of which one First Class/Div/A Grade Undergraduate/Graduate Program.
At least 02 year of teaching experience at university level.
Must have at least 01 publications to his/her credit.
OR
M. Phil in Civil Engineering with minimum two First Class/Div/A Grade.
At least 03 years of teaching experience at university level.
Must have 01 publications to his/her credit.
OR
M.Sc and B.Sc in Civil Engineering from any reputed University. Must have achieved at least 03 x First Class/Div/A Grade in the entire educational curriculum.
At least 03 years of teaching experience at university level.
Must have 02 publications to his/her credit.

Position Location: BAIUST, Cumilla
Subject Areas: Civil Engineering
Position Description: BAIUST solicits applications for the post of Assistant Professor under the Department of Civil Engineering. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:
To teach undergraduate courses confirming to the approved syllabus guidelines of the university with particular emphasis on fundamental education in all areas of Civil Engineering.
To provide service and leadership to the Department; to external academic and Communities.
To contribute to research through high quality publications.
In the area of teaching, the successful candidate will share a deep commitment to effective instruction at the undergraduate level, development of innovative courses and mentoring of students in research and professional development.
To ensure that teaching content is appropriately informed by current research and advance scholarly activity.
To develop pedagogical techniques designed to meet the needs of the diverse learning styles and intellectual interests.
Any other duties assigned by the University Authority.
