Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in relevant field.
∎ Candidate must have FSCD training certification.
∎ Previous experience as a Fire Safety Officer or a similar role.
∎ Knowledge of fire safety regulations, codes, and standards.
∎ Any other fire safety certification and training.
∎ Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At most 3 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Fire and Safety, fire detection, Fire Hydrant system, Health Safety and Environment
∎ Freshers are also encouraged to apply.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Conduct regular fire safety inspections of all units, identify potential hazards and recommended corrective actions.
∎ Establish and manage fire safety plan, emergency response plans including fire drills, evacuation procedures and fire alarm systems.
∎ Organize and provide fire safety training to employees, ensuring that they are aware of fire hazards and the proper use of fire safety equipment.
∎ Ensure that sprinkler systems, fire extinguishers, alarms, and other firefighting equipment are maintained and inspected.
∎ Stay up-to-date with EPZ law, Country legislation, and FSCD safety standards, ensuring company compliance.
∎ Investigate fire incidents, near misses, and accidents to determine their cause and recommend preventive measures.
∎ Ensure that all fire safety-related activities, inspections, training, and incidents are accurately documented.
∎ Maintain communication with local fire departments, emergency responders, and regulatory agencies to ensure effective coordination in case of fire emergencies.
