Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Create and implement targeted sales strategies to achieve growth in the government and private sector, ensuring alignment with company goals.
∎ Establish and maintain strong relationships with government and private agencies, key decision-makers, and influencers to drive revenue growth.
∎ Manage the entire sales cycle, including responding to tenders, EOI, Requests for Proposals (RFPs), understanding government procurement regulations, and ensuring compliance.
∎ Research and identify new opportunities, ensuring early engagement and positioning for success.
∎ Prepare sales forecasts, analyze performance data, and report to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for growth.
∎ Ensure adherence to all regulatory and compliance requirements, managing contract negotiations and renewals.
∎ Work with other departments, such as technical, finance, and product, to align resources for sales initiatives and ensure seamless project delivery.
∎ Stay informed about government policy changes, budget cycles, and trends in public sector spending to anticipate and respond to market needs.
∎ Negotiating on price, costs, delivery and specifications with buyers and managers.
∎ Advising on forthcoming product developments and special promotions.
