Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Garment Manufacturing Technology, Industrial & Production Engineering (IPE), or a related technical discipline.
Candidates with proven hands-on experience in operator training, sewing techniques, or production floor management in the RMG sector are preferred.
Strong technical knowledge of sewing operations, machines, and garment construction.
Expertise in operator training, skill grading, and performance evaluation.
Familiarity with SMV, line balancing, and productivity improvement techniques.
Good understanding of quality control processes and defect analysis.
Ability to design training modules, visual aids, and e-learning content.
Excellent communication, presentation, and coaching skills.
Strong coordination ability with IE, QA, and Maintenance teams.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and basic data analysis.
Develop standardized training modules for various sewing operations and implement factory-wide training programs.
Design and execute a technical training roadmap for operators, line leaders, and floor supervisors.
Manage and operate the in-house training center to conduct hands-on and classroom training sessions.
Conduct onboarding and induction training for new sewing operators covering machine handling, safety, and garment construction.
Evaluate new hires through skills grading tests and ensure they reach expected efficiency levels within set timelines.
Monitor operator and line performance, identify skill gaps, and retrain low-performing operators as required.
Collaborate with Industrial Engineering (IE) and Quality teams to analyze SMV, bottlenecks, and defect trends for performance improvement.
Develop visual learning aids and e-learning tools to promote self-paced and repeatable learning.
Maintain and upgrade training resources including sample materials, videos, manuals, and various sewing machines.
Keep detailed records of operator assessments, training progress, and certification levels.
Measure training effectiveness using KPIs such as operator efficiency, defect rate reduction, and number of operators certified.
Conduct technical training for quality staff on defect identification, inspection techniques, and communication with operators.
Coordinate with maintenance teams to train mechanics on proper machine settings and preventive maintenance practices.
Support line balancing and skill versatility initiatives to enhance production flexibility and efficiency.
Ensure continuous improvement of training infrastructure, aligning programs with factory performance goals and compliance standards.
