Educational Requirements:
∎ An ideal candidate should have BSc. Engineering (Mechanical) degree from any recognized university, preferably (but not limited to) BUET, RUET, KUET, CUET
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 6 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead, Inspire and Drive the Maintenance Team. Train, Guide and Motivate the team to achieve daily, weekly and monthly objectives ensuring 100% success rate
∎ Ensure uninterrupted utility services of Generators, Air Compressors, Water Pump, Transformers, Switch Gears, HT and LT Panels, AVR, PFI, Online UPS, HVAC System, MDB, FDB
∎ Regular maintenance of Lightning Protection System, Fire Pump & Hydrant System, Fire Alarm System, Effluent Treatment Plant etc.
∎ To suggest, initiate ideas for modification works for improvement of machine performance and matters related to safety
∎ Implement "Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)" approach in the production line
∎ Ensure regular repair & maintenance work of machines within the stipulated timeline, ensuring minimum disruption of production
∎ Drive the analysis and elimination of repetitive problems. Popular tools, such Root Cause Failure Analysis (SOLVE), FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis), PDCA, Reliability Analysis, Pareto Analysis etc. are applicable
∎ Implement and Monitor initiatives to ensure Energy Savings and Cost Optimization
∎ Responsible for Inventory & Utilization of Spare Parts and ensure Cost Efficiency
∎ To check, control and follow-up periodical closing of accounts related to spare parts and maintenance works using ERP / SAP software
∎ Setting project plans & milestones, reviewing design & drawing, execution and buy-off phase activities with third party contractors
∎ To review daily "Preventive Maintenance Routine (PMR)" execution percentage and execute balance task within shortest planned time
∎ Installation / Erection of new machinery and making protocol, MoM etc. with suppliers' engineering team
∎ Assist in implementing safety measures (including safety training) and house-keeping in the plant
∎ Responsible for implementing & maintaining all relevant standards and regulations, including BNBC, Accord, Alliance etc. and assist the compliance team during and after Audits
∎ To develop and implement Preventive Action Plan to avoid machine failure during peak season
∎ Provide technical direction / feedback to suppliers or third-party contractors in executing various objectives
Additional Requirements:
∎ The applicants should have more than 6 (Six) years post-qualifying working experience in a manufacturing plant, preferably in the printing and packaging industry. The applicant must also be registered with IEB and have thorough knowledge & Experience on "Operation and Maintenance (O&M)" of a Manufacturing Plant. The applicant must be adept in preparing and reviewing floor layouts (Auto-CAD, MS Viseo, MS Project), Electrical SLD, preparing and analyzing BOQ & BOM, preparing OPEX and CAPEX budget and forecasting.
∎ Preference will be provided to applicants having adequate knowledge on Electrical Engineering AND first-hand experience with Heidelberg Press, CTP Machines, Mueller Looms, Digital Printing Press, Flexo Machines etc.
∎ Should be a pleasant personality, smart and well groomed
∎ Should work well independently as well as in a big team
∎ Should be self motivated, organized and disciplined
∎ Should have patience and good negotiation capability
∎ Should have keen sense of punctuality along with ethical and professional responsibility
∎ Should be willing to work additional hours if it is required to finish the assigned responsibility
∎ Should have knowledge in MS Office, ERP, SAP & other computer applications
∎ Should have good analytical ability, good communication skill in English - both written & verbal
