Job Context:
∎ Direct Fresh Ltd (DFL) is a 6-years-old company registered in Bangladesh that has emerged as a 360° food solution provider for the institutional and the retail customers in Bangladesh. The company is currently catering to 40+ local and International customers, delivering to over 100+ distribution points. In a nutshell, DFL Imports/trades/produces food products, operates using its own processing, logistics and distribution channel and delivers/retails the product to the customers directly.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible to manage all commercial activities (e.g. issuance of PI, L/C open, amendment/correction, shipment, negotiation, payment realization, release etc.).
∎ Maintain proper liaison with concerned agencies, trade bodies, banks, shipping line, C&F agents, transport agents, insurance companies, Customs & VAT department, etc.
∎ Follow up of L/C and ensure proper HS code for timely clearance from customs and save additional cost.
∎ Communicate with confirming bank for confirmation of LC at a competitive price.
∎ Communicate with banks for timely collection of Proceeds Realization Certificate (PRC).
∎ Negotiate with bank for preferential exchange rate for Import.
∎ Follow up Annual Import Entitlement with customs bond.
∎ Closely follow up all commercial process execute timely and cost effectively.
∎ Follow up and maintain commercial reports related to Import and Export activities and inform management as required.
∎ Any other duties and responsibilities will be assigned by the management time to time.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 30 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Able to work in a high-pressure environment
∎ Diligent, enthusiastic and result-orientated
∎ Adequate knowledge about H.S. Code, L/C Clauses, Customs and bonded warehouse matter, Custom Audit, Bill of Lading and other shipping documents, Certificate of Origin and undertaking, Bond License, Vessel Schedule, Invoice, packing list etc.
∎ Must be updated on the latest Customs and International Trade Laws are essential to be proficient in this position.
∎ Knowledge about the handle of Port and Customs Operation effectively.
Salary:
∎ Negotiable
