Job Context:
∎ Position: Assistant Manager - Business Development (Telecom Sector)
∎ Job location: Baridhara
∎ Report to: Chief Business Officer
∎ The Assistant Manager Business Development must identify, target and develop business relationships that are aligned with the strategy of the company to support & grow. The role must build relationship maps for key stakeholders, Partners and existing & potential clients and also develop & implement an engagement strategy for the company. The role should facilitate the formulation of strategic alliances & service delivery partnerships also undertake proactive networking with all relevant external stakeholder groups to expand service delivery opportunities. The position should maintain collaborative & constructive working relationships with the (BD) team and contribute to the overall strategy for business development as well as assist team to develop their relationships with relevant stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Clear understanding of Telecom procurement process, specially Telecom IT procurement & sales process as well as technical solutions.
∎ Identifies business opportunities in Telecom sector by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analyzing sales options.
∎ Sells products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; recommending solutions.
∎ Pro-actively approaching customers to solve any kind of requirement or support.
∎ Maintains relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements.
∎ Identifies product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
∎ Keeping up to date with the latest product information in technology market. Advising customers of updates and new technologies.
∎ Sourcing potential new customers and maintaining regular contact with existing customers.
∎ Gathering customer, vendor, competitors & market information to plan and execute sales strategies properly.
∎ Undertake Telecom sector analysis focusing on identifying service gaps and the development of new business to achieve set revenue target.
∎ Close sales by effectively managing the sales process from start to finish.
∎ In conjunction with the management team, identify opportunities for new contracts and evaluate appropriate market entry opportunities.
∎ Targeting Telecom sector for Core Telecom Solutions, IT solutions Infrastructure Turnkey Solution (both Hardware & Software), Information Security Solution, ERP, Data Warehouse, Data Centre, Disaster Recovery solution, BI, CRM, Office Automation, DMS, Networking Solution, NMS Solutions etc.
∎ Develop and execute a business development plan for the company to achieve set performance targets and objectives that will support market penetration, market development & product/service development to support achievement of personal KPIs.
∎ Identify potential local risks, and/or opportunities for business development and anticipate the impact of social, political and financial dynamics on business opportunities.
∎ Participate as a member of the organization, & support activities across the organization including events & campaigns.
∎ Create, manage and mature leads in Telecom sector and other sectors defined by the CBO.
∎ Negotiating solutions and price with the OEM and Customers.
∎ Work with the vertical head for developing and manage a strategy to address the designated industry sector.
∎ Coordinate with Clients and Partners to qualify and make successful proposals and close deals.
∎ Monitor and follow-up project status and accordingly ensure on time.
∎ Weekly Customer Visit Plan and Follow up.
∎ Weekly update with CBO the status of progress.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 30 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ 5+ Years solid experience in technical sales specially in Telecom sector.
∎ Candidates with having exposure & experience with Telephone company are encouraged to apply for this position.
∎ Experience with technical will be an additional advantage for this position.
∎ Ready to work with sales target.
∎ Practical & knowledge of computer applications specially MS Office (Visio, Power point & word) is mandatory for this position.
