Responsibilities & Context:
Position Summary:
The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing the overall administrative, operational, and clinical management of the hospital. In addition, the candidate will serve as a General Practitioner (GP), providing direct patient care as required.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day hospital administration and operational activities
Ensure effective coordination among doctors, nurses, and support staff
Maintain clinical governance, compliance, and quality assurance standards
Monitor and improve patient care services and satisfaction
Develop and manage budgets, resources, and operational efficiency
Implement hospital policies and regulatory requirements
Provide general medical consultations and primary healthcare services
Lead emergency response coordination and critical decision-making
Required Qualifications:
MBBS degree from a recognized medical college
Valid registration with BMDC (Bangladesh Medical & Dental Council)
Additional training or certification in Hospital Administration/Health Management will be considered an advantage
Experience & Competencies:
Minimum 10–20 years of experience in hospital or clinical management
Strong leadership and team management capabilities
Sound knowledge of healthcare compliance and clinical governance
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in hospital management systems and computer applications
