Educational Requirements:
∎ Chartered Accountant
∎ Graduate degree in business studies from a reputed university
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Manage and deliver audit engagements from planning to completion
∎ Take responsibility for deliverables and audit working papers and ensure timely completion and review by partner
∎ Nurture worthwhile relationships with clients and associates
∎ Make appropriate use of audit tools, guidance and methodology
∎ Formulate reasonable judgements applying knowledge of business, financial accounting and reporting, and information technology and draw conclusions in order to deliver informative and timely outputs
∎ Perform review of associate's work and form audit opinion based on reported findings
∎ Ensure compliance with auditing and accounting standards, relevant laws and regulations, ethical standards, independence requirements and the firm's quality control procedures
∎ Coach and mentor associates and trainees
∎ Manage project plans to optimize engagement
Additional Requirements:
∎ Ability to obtain and present appropriate audit evidence, address the relevant audit objectives, and demonstrate its relevance to the rest of the audit
∎ Working knowledge of IFRS and ISA
∎ Excellent verbal and written communication skill with ability to write reports independently
∎ Preferred: Prior work experience with Big 4 / MNC / local conglomerate
