Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch)
Experience Requirements:
∎ 8 to 10 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare project brief for the principal architect and communicate with him to ensure proper design management obtaining design deliverables from him within deadline.
∎ Independently handle project design matters from initial conceptual stage to construction drawings.
∎ Review and analyse detailed architectural construction drawings and add value to the project design.
∎ Undertake site visits to ensure compliance to approved project design.
∎ Coordinate design issues with other members of the in house design team and other external consultants in areas of structural, MEP, electrical and façade design.
∎ Coordinate with related Government organization.
∎ Coordinate with new construction project.
∎ Meeting and making design presentation to client if required.
∎ Assess potential projects for feasibility by researching and analysing associated technology, design requirements, governmental regulations, and market demand.
∎ Remain up-to-date with contemporary elements of design, construction and finishing materials and technology.
∎ Innovate and develop new standards, policies, and procedures for architectural design as necessary to minimize costs and maximize efficiency ensuring overall development of the design Department.
∎ Any other job assignment by management as and when necessary.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Proven record of independent design of multi storied residential and commercial projects, enclosing portfolio of works done is required.
∎ Experience of being involved with mid to high end high rise residential and commercial project development from planning stages to design and construction for a reputed real estate developer in Bangladesh.
∎ Architecture focus, interior skill will be an added advantage
∎ Should be self-motivated, proactive and dynamic and capable to work under pressure.
∎ Must have a keen observation sense of design details and design aesthetics.
∎ Sound Knowledge on Imarat Nirman Bidhimala 2008 and Bangladesh National Building Code (BNBC).
∎ Strong visual presentation as well as production drawing skills
∎ Good aesthetic sense and an eye for minute design details
∎ Knowledge of 3D Studio Max, sketch up .
∎ Excellent oral and written English communication skills and Graphic communication and presentation skill.
∎ Full Member of IAB
∎ Hard working and ready to work for extra hours to meet design completion deadlines.
Salary: Negotiable
