Responsibilities & Context: Key Responsibilities & Duties: Financial Record Management Maintain accurate financial records for U.S. and Bangladesh operations Record transactions, invoices, payments, and expenses in accounting systems Ensure timely and accurate bookkeeping Reporting & Financial Analysis Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports Generate profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow summaries Provide structured financial insights to management Accounts Payable & Receivable Manage invoices, vendor payments, and client billing Monitor receivables and follow up on outstanding payments Maintain accurate payment schedules Bank & System Reconciliation Reconcile bank accounts and payment platforms Monitor discrepancies and resolve financial inconsistencies Ensure alignment between CRM, payment systems, and accounting records Budgeting & Cost Control Track departmental budgets and operational expenses Assist leadership with financial forecasting and cost optimization Identify unnecessary expenses and efficiency improvements Compliance & Documentation Maintain organized financial documentation Ensure adherence to accounting standards and company policies Support audits and tax preparation when required Communication & Coordination Communicate clearly in English with U.S.-based stakeholders Coordinate with management, operations, and external accountants Provide financial updates and respond to queries professionally Required Qualifications (Must-Have): Minimum 2–4 years of accounting experience Strong proficiency in Excel and financial reporting Good understanding of accounting principles and financial statements Strong English communication skills (written and verbal) High level of accuracy and attention to detail Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have): Experience working with U.S.-based companies or international clients Experience using accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, Zoho, etc.) Understanding of U.S. financial standards and tax structure (basic knowledge preferred) Experience in digital marketing, agency, or service-based business environment Skills & Competencies: Technical Skills Bookkeeping & financial reporting Accounts payable & receivable management Bank reconciliation Budget tracking & forecasting Accounting software proficiency Soft Skills Strong English communication ability Analytical thinking & financial discipline Confidentiality and integrity Time management & deadline focus Structured and organized work style Benefits & Perks: Up to BDT 20 lakh health insurance coverage Annual salary increment up to 15% Monthly performance bonuses Attractive festival bonuses Employee loan program Flexible casual, sick & special leave policy National + U.S. calendar holidays Career Growth & Development: Clear, performance-based growth path Opportunity to grow into Senior Accountant / Finance Manager roles Exposure to U.S. financial systems and international operations Long-term leadership opportunities in finance and compliance
