Experience:
Good oral & written communication on Bangla and English.
Professional knowledge Proficiency in 3D modeling software such as Blender, 3ds Max, Maya, Rhino, or similar.
Strong understanding of furniture design principles and manufacturing processes.
Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
Ability to read and interpret design sketches, technical drawings, and blueprints.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Good Presentation and customer dealing.
Experience in texture mapping, UV unwrapping, and rendering.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects effectively.
A degree in Industrial Design, 3D Modeling, Animation, or a related field is preferred.
Portfolio demonstrating previous 3D modeling work, especially in furniture design.
3D Modeling and Rendering:
Create detailed 3D models of furniture pieces from sketches, drawings, or reference images using software like Blender, 3ds Max, Maya, or similar.
Produce high-quality renderings and visualizations for marketing, presentation, and design review purposes.
Collaboration with Design Teams:
Work closely with designers and product developers to understand the design intent and ensure accurate representation of furniture pieces.
Provide feedback and suggestions to enhance the design and manufacturability of furniture items.
Technical Drawings and Specifications:
Generate technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications for production purposes.
Ensure that all models and drawings adhere to industry standards and company guidelines.
Material and Texture Application:
Apply appropriate textures, materials, and finishes to models to achieve realistic visualizations.
Ensure accurate representation of materials, including wood grains, fabrics, metals, and other finishes.
Prototyping and Testing:
Collaborate with the prototyping team to create physical prototypes based on 3D models.
Adjust and refine models based on prototype feedback and testing results.
File Management and Documentation:
Maintain organized files and documentation for all 3D models, including version control and backup procedures.
Ensure all models are correctly archived and accessible for future reference and modifications.
Software and Tools Proficiency:
Stay updated with the latest 3D modeling software and tools.
Continuously improve modeling techniques and processes through self-learning and training.
Innovation and Trends:
Research and integrate the latest trends in furniture design and 3D modeling technology.
Experiment with new tools and methods to improve efficiency and creativity in the modeling process.
Client and Stakeholder Interaction:
Present 3D models and renderings to clients and stakeholders, effectively communicating design concepts and options.
Incorporate feedback from clients and stakeholders into the final models.
Quality Assurance:
Conduct thorough quality checks on all 3D models to ensure accuracy, completeness, and aesthetic quality.
Resolve any issues or discrepancies in the models promptly.
Project Management:
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality models.
Coordinate with other departments to align modeling tasks with overall project timelines and goals.
