Proven experience as a 3D Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing 3D modeling, texturing, and rendering work, ideally in AR/VR or medical applications.
Proficiency in industry-standard 3D design software such as Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, or ZBrush.
Strong understanding of modeling, UV mapping, rigging, lighting, shading, and texturing in 3D environments.
Experience with AR/VR platforms (Unity, Unreal Engine) and real-time 3D asset creation.
Knowledge of human anatomy and experience designing anatomical models is a significant plus.
Familiarity with medical imaging formats (e.g., DICOM) and the ability to convert medical scans into 3D models is an advantage.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, medical professionals, and UX/UI designers.
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to balance artistic creativity with technical constraints.

Job Overview:
As a 3D Designer at Virtucare.ai, you will play a key role in creating the visual components of our AR/VR solutions for surgical care. You will work closely with developers, medical professionals, and the product team to design and create anatomically accurate 3D models, surgical environments, and interactive elements. Your work will directly support surgeons in preoperative planning, surgical simulations, and real-time guidance, ultimately contributing to improved patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, model, and texture 3D assets, including anatomical models, surgical tools, and medical environments, for AR/VR applications.
Collaborate with medical experts to ensure that all 3D models are anatomically correct and meet the specific needs of surgical procedures.
Work with AR/VR developers to integrate 3D models into immersive environments and ensure they perform optimally in real-time simulations.
Create realistic textures, lighting, and shading for 3D models to enhance visual fidelity and immersion in virtual environments.
Optimize 3D assets for performance while maintaining high visual quality, ensuring they run smoothly on AR/VR platforms.
Contribute to the development of interactive elements, enabling users (surgeons, medical staff) to manipulate 3D models during training or surgery simulations.
Work with the UX/UI design team to ensure seamless integration of 3D assets into the overall user experience.
Iterate on designs based on feedback from surgeons, medical advisors, and product managers to meet evolving project needs.
