Experience:

• 6 to 8 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Software Company, IT Enabled Service

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.

• Relevant certifications in WordPress development, PHP or front-end technologies like NextJs, NestJs and Reactjs are a plus.

• Age 28 to 35 years

Experience Requirements

• 6-8 years of hands-on experience in WordPress development (custom themes, plugins and site optimization).

• Proven portfolio of live WordPress websites, preferably for service-based or B2B companies.

• Experience working with page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, Gutenberg) and custom theme development.

Skills & Expertise

• Core Technologies: PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (jQuery/Vanilla).

• WordPress: Custom theme development, plugin development, REST API, Gutenberg blocks (basic).

• Page Builders: Elementor, WPBakery, Gutenberg (advanced customization).

• Tools & Platforms: Git/GitHub, cPanel/FTP, Local by Flywheel, phpMyAdmin.

• Performance & SEO: Caching (WP Rocket, LiteSpeed), image optimization, CDN, schema markup, Yoast/Rank Math.

• Security: Wordfence, Sucuri, SSL implementation, regular backups (UpdraftPlus, BlogVault).

• Soft Skills: Problem-solving, attention to detail, time management, teamwork and clear communication.

Additional Requirements

• Age: 28–35 years (flexible for highly skilled candidates)

• Strong understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility and mobile-first development.

• Solid knowledge of on-page SEO best practices, site speed optimization and core web vitals.

• Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and basic conversion tracking.

• Ability to collaborate with designers, content writers and digital marketers.

• Good communication skills in English and Bengali (written and verbal).

• Willingness to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Job Context: A WordPress developer designs, builds, customizes, and maintains websites and applications using the WordPress CMS.
Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain custom WordPress websites for SSSL, ensuring high performance, security and scalability.

• Build and customize WordPress themes and child themes to match brand guidelines and UX requirements.

• Develop, modify, and maintain custom plugins or extend existing plugins as needed.

• Implement responsive layouts using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and PHP, ensuring compatibility across devices and browsers.

• Optimize website speed, Core Web Vitals, and technical SEO (schema, sitemap, robots.txt, canonical tags etc.)

• Integrate third-party tools and APIs (CRM, live chat, WhatsApp, payment gateways, form builders etc.)

• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, errors and compatibility issues promptly.

• Ensure website security through regular updates, backups, malware scanning and hardening practices.

• Collaborate with the digital marketing team to implement landing pages, lead-capture forms and tracking pixels.

• Maintain clear documentation of code, configurations and deployment processes.
