∎ Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills to maintain an efficient and well-organized storage area.
∎ Work Environment: Ability to work in a cold environment (often freezing).
∎ Specific Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Receiving and Unloading: Unloading goods from delivery trucks and moving them into the cold storage facility.
∎ Inventory Management: Assisting with inventory control, including stocking shelves, ensuring proper product rotation (FIFO), and maintaining accurate records.
∎ Storage and Handling: Properly storing goods in the cold storage area, ensuring compliance with safety and quality regulations.
∎ Temperature Monitoring: Monitoring and maintaining appropriate temperatures within the cold storage area.
∎ Order Fulfillment: Assisting with the preparation and packaging of orders for shipment.
∎ Safety Compliance: Adhering to all safety standards and procedures, including food safety protocols.
∎ General Labor: Performing general labor duties within the cold storage area, such as cleaning, organizing, and maintaining a safe work environment.
∎ Operating Equipment: May be required to operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery.
∎ Assisting with Audits: Participating in regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence to company policies and industry standards.
∎ Teamwork: Coordinating with other team members to ensure efficient operations.
∎ Customer Service: May be required to assist with customer inquiries or complaints related to products or orders.
