Minimum Graduate (Bachelor’s degree) / Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) in any discipline.

Must have a 6 to 12-month professional training course/certification in Housekeeping, Hospitality Management, or Hotel Management from a reputed training center or organization.

Experience & Skills:

• Experience working in a reputed hospital, diagnostic center, corporate office, or luxury hotel will be a strong advantage.

• Sound knowledge of industrial cleaning chemicals, sanitization tools, and automated floor-cleaning equipment.

• Excellent team leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.

• Strong commitment to maintaining high hygiene standards under pressure.

We are looking for an energetic, organized, and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee and maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation across our hospital premises. Patient safety and comfort depend heavily on infection control and a spotless environment. The ideal candidate will possess specialized training in housekeeping or hospitality management and demonstrate strong leadership skills to guide our cleaning staff.

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee daily housekeeping operations across wards, cabins, OTs, ICUs, corridors, and public areas to ensure compliance with medical sanitation standards.

• Roster, assign duties, and manage the performance of the housekeeping cleaners, janitors, and ward attendants.

• Ensure strict adherence to hospital waste management protocols, including the safe disposal of clinical, bio-hazardous, and general waste.

• Monitor and manage the inventory of cleaning chemicals, disinfectants, linen, and cleaning equipment to prevent shortages.

• Conduct routine training for cleaning staff regarding chemical safety, machine handling, patient-area etiquette, and hygiene standards.

• Perform regular rounds and audits of all assigned floors, address complaints promptly, and report maintenance issues (broken fixtures, plumbing leaks) to the engineering department.
