Responsibilities & Context:
a Chinese tea store, where the atmosphere is typically calm and focused on detail, here are three simple responsibilities centered strictly on guest service and communication:
1. Curated Menu Guidance
You will act as a "tea guide" by explaining the different flavor profiles to guests (e.g., distinguishing between a light, floral Oolong and a bold, earthy Pu-erh). Your goal is to simplify the menu and help guests find a tea that matches their current mood or taste preference.
2. Attentive "Slow" Service
Unlike a busy restaurant, tea service requires a calm and patient presence. You must monitor tables discreetly to provide hot water refills or extra infusions without interrupting the guests' conversation, ensuring their tea never gets cold or over-steeps.
3. Cultural Storytelling
You will communicate the "story" behind the tea—such as its origin, the harvest season, or the traditional brewing method being used. This adds value to the guest's experience by making the tea session feel like a special event rather than just a drink.
