∎ Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in Marine Engineering
∎ Marine engineer - class 1 certificate
∎ Training/Trade Course: Certificate of Competency (CoC) Class 1 Marine Engineer Officer
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 12 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Technical Superintendent will be the overall responsible for the safe, economic and efficient operation of vessels.
∎ Ensure ships are managed and operated in accordance with organizational policies, operating procedures and management systems in line with IMO conventions.
∎ Responsible to supply adequate store, spare, lubes and others in timely and cost-effective manners.
∎ Ensure that all procedures are adhered to and comply with International Safety Management (ISM) and classification rules.
∎ Superintendent should possess a strong understanding of the technical knowledge of ships and keeps abreast of industry standards and regulations. He should be well organized, is able to work in a team and may occasionally be required to sail onboard ships.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 35 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Should have on board sailing experience of minimum 24 months as chief engineer, should have shore jobs experience (technical) of minimum 2 years in any reputed shipping company in BD or abroad.
