Job Responsibilities:
∎ Will involve measuring all garments and accessories to ensure they align with product specifications.
∎ Must identify potential problems with products and follow through to ensure all glitches are resolved prior to scheduled releases.
∎ Recommend raw material components to meet brand standard and uphold design intent.
∎ Have necessary knowledge for calculating fabric and accessory shrinkage.
∎ Identify potential production, quality and costing issues and make recommendations to ensure brand integrity.
∎ Assist in conducting fittings on live models and help to determine fit corrections based on designer discussion.
∎ Measure and prepare samples with accuracy before fit sessions. Take fit notes during fitting.
∎ Collaborate with the designer in Product Development Department (PD) in order to ensure all of the notions and details are correct.
∎ Interact with PD team on daily basis to manage the sample approval status in order to maintain company time/action calendar.
∎ Interact with PD team to associate the corrected pattern with appropriate technical package.
∎ Development of initial sample specifications from original samples and/or design sketch. Establish close partnership with Design Team in order to facilitate the interpretation of Design concepts.
∎ Create and update specification tech packs, including PDM technical package incorporating technical sketches, garment construction details, graded measurements, labeling requirements, and ticket placement.
∎ Issue final production Grading.
∎ Confirming label and marketing placement instructions for conformance to standards.
∎ Execute design and fit intent into bulk production while maintaining corporate standard
∎ Travelling, both domestic and international, maybe required meeting with manufacturers, designers and vendors.
∎ Travelling in a weekly basis to Production Facility to oversee and ensure quality of production.
∎ Communicate to all agents/vendors and factories regarding contents of tech pack, corrections to samples and patterns. Interact on daily basis with agents/vendors to problem solve all issues related to garment engineering.
∎ The fashion industry is constantly evolving, so candidate must be highly adaptable, extremely organized and an exceptional communicator.
∎ The fashion industry is fast-paced, so candidate may work accordingly to meet demands, especially before major deadlines

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ A Bachelors Degree in fashion design or a related field, but applicable experience may be substituted for education in special case.
∎ Strong written and verbal communications skills.
∎ Knowledge of garment construction and fit standards.
∎ Live model fitting experience.
∎ Expertise in pattern-making including grading, construction and fit.
∎ Knowledge of construction standards and manufacturing methods.
∎ Ability to proactively trouble-shoot and problem solve.
∎ Ability to convey necessary corrections.
∎ Ability to work in high volume department and interact with multiple cross-functions.
∎ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
∎ Strong sense of teamwork and ability to multitask.
∎ Strong computer skills (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS Word)
