The Role ( Female Technical Designer - Design & Development Team)

This is a full-time on-site role for a Technical Designer at AMPED UP, located in Dhaka, Bangladesh. We're seeking a Female Technical Designer to create timeless, original designs with a focus on detail and quality and ensure high-quality, functional garments through production and quality control expertise.

What You'll Do:

• Develop designs from concept to final product.

• Create technical drawings and oversee fabric/trim sourcing.

• Focus on enhancing fabrication, construction, and original detailing.

• Manage fabric testing and organising the library.

• Participate in fit sessions and update CADs based on fit changes.

• Oversee garment production and quality control processes.

• Collaborate with production teams on supplier allocation, costing and quality.

• Prepare CAD boards and meeting note packs for monthly releases and design reviews.

• Implement solutions to reduce defects and returns.

• Conduct competitor analysis and trend research.

You're a Fit if You Are:

• A qualified designer with 4+ years of experience in both knit, woven & seamless garments.

• Skilled in Adobe software and aesthetic judgement.

• Experienced in garment production and quality control.

• Knowledgeable about fabric construction and fabric testing.

• Experienced in Pattern Making and participating in fit sessions.

• Experienced in high-end, tasteful retail environments.

• Highly organised, adaptable with excellent time management and presentation skills.

• Known for exceptional taste.

• Strong communication skills with a high proficiency in English.
