Leadership skills

• A lead consultant must inspire and motivate their team to achieve common objectives. Their leadership involves managing the team, delegating tasks according to team members’ strengths and ensuring they work effectively towards the set goal

• Unexpected challenges are a part of a consultant’s work. A lead consultant should be adept at identifying problems, analyzing potential solutions and promptly implementing the best course of action.

Additional Requirements:

• Excellence fluency in English is preferred
• Experience working in educational environment or a similar role is a plus
• Effective communication, presentation and interpersonal skill
• Confident, well groomed an able to work under pressure
• At least 4 years of experience in Student Visa Counselling, Visa process or education consultancy
• Good Knowledge of admission, Visa processes for USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Europe
• Willing to teach the team members with the knowledge you have
• Strong knowledge and understanding of Education sector trends and opportunities.
• Must be polite, patient, honest and loyal to work
• Counsel students and parents about study abroad options in countries
• Ensure the team meets and exceed enrollments and other business targets
• Must lead, mentor and train junior counselors and team members
• Develop and implements strategies to ensure business growth and brand visibility

Student Counseling & Guidance

• Advising students on study abroad opportunities, subjects, tuition fees and scholarships

• Suggesting the right country/university according to the student`s profile, results, budget and goals

• Explaining admission requirements in simple terms

Application & Admission Support

• Helping in filling out university applications

• Guiding required documents: SOP, CV, Reference Letter, Bank Statement

• Regularly following up on the status of the application

Project management

• A lead consultant oversees planning, organizing and executing projects effectively. They liaise closely with all stakeholders to achieve the desired results.

Strategic planning

• They facilitate the development of strategic plans that meet organizational goals.

• They align the vision and mission with the strategies while considering the internal and external environments.

Training and development

• A lead consultant often has to mentor and train less experienced consultants.

• They conduct seminars and workshops to enhance team members’ skills and productivity.

Client interaction

• A lead consultant meets with clients regularly to understand their needs, discuss progress and provide updates.
