Job Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics according to the IGCSE/O Level and A Level curriculum.
• Ensure lessons are engaging, structured, and aligned with Cambridge/IGCSE/A Level curriculum standards.
• Integrate theoretical knowledge with practical applications to enhance student understanding.
• Align teaching with Cambridge/IGCSE/A Level curriculum standards.
• Prepare, demonstrate, and supervise laboratory experiments safely.
• Ensure all laboratory activities comply with safety protocols and guidelines.
• Guide students to develop practical skills and scientific inquiry techniques.
• Maintain laboratory resources, equipment, and chemicals in proper order.
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to help students improve academically.
• Monitor student progress and identify learning gaps or difficulties.
• Maintain accurate academic records, including lesson plans, student progress reports, and assessment results.
• Participate in curriculum planning, review meetings, and moderation sessions.
• Contribute to the development of a progressive and challenging science curriculum.
• Maintain effective communication with parents regarding student progress and performance.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and school-wide academic standards.
• Participate in departmental and whole-school academic meetings and initiatives.
• Create and maintain a safe, stimulating, and positive learning environment.
• Promote good discipline, classroom management, and student well-being.
• Ensure compliance with school policies, safeguarding, and health & safety regulations.
• Perform any other responsibilities assigned by the Head of Department or school management.
