Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Running preschool in slum area
∎ Baseline survey to collect children’s information and to observe the situation of the children in slum.
∎ Enroll children as per criteria in Preschool.
∎ Developing a careful and creative program suitable for preschool children
∎ Employing a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, media etc.) to teach children
∎ Observing each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem
∎ Encourage children to interact with each other.
∎ Guide children to develop their artistic and practical capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum (identify shapes, numbers or colors, do crafts etc.)
∎ Track children’s progress and report to parents
∎ Communicate with parents regularly to understand the children’s background and psyche
∎ Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards.
∎ Arrange quarterly meeting with parents to aware them regarding various issues that emerge.
∎ Arrange meeting with Centre Management Committee to increase local awareness and keep the centre secured.
∎ Getting admitted children in primary school.
∎ Build good rapport and continuous communication with primary school related stakeholders.
∎ Provide teaching support the children of primary schools.
∎ Perform any other reasonable duties and tasks as assigned by the Project Management and the respective supervisors.
